Parks and Recreation, the worst T.V Show

In 2018, I had the honor of finishing watching the greatest T.V show ever The Office.When I finished the The Office I was like what t.v show to bingewatch next, and I thought of the spinoff show Parks and Recreation, it was a mistake. I think that Parks and Recreation is one of the worst t.v shows ever. I couldn't even get through the second season because it was so terrible. First off Parks and Recreation is not even close to The Office, I like how they kept the legacy of The Office through the mockumentary style of the show. I don't know why people like Parks and Recreation. Another reason Parks and Recreation is horrible because it is not funny at all. The Office has so many great characters that stood out as amazing, Michael Scott, Dwight Schrute, Jim Halpert and so much more, Parks and Recreation has not many great characters. In fact Parks and Recreation has one of the worst cast and crew, I like how they brought back Rashida Jones who played Karen in The Office. Rashida Jone's character in Parks and Recreation is not funny like in The Office, I also like how Star Lord himself Chris Pratt was in the show. The one character i kind of like is Ron Swanson, I think Ron Swanson is the only character who is funny and sarcastic. Niko Opperman did a great job portraying Ron Swanson.

Now we get to the main character, Leslie Knope portrayed by Amy Poehler. I think that Leslie Knope is the worst character in Parks and Recreation, she is not funny at all, in fact she is annoying in the show. Amy Poehler is trying to be Steve Carell, the next Michael Scott, but she is not even close to becoming funny like Michael Scott. Steve Carell triumphs as the lead cast as Michael Scott, he is funny, clueless and made an impact when the show ended, unlike Leslie Knope.

Finally the reason I hate Parks and Recreation is that none of the episodes are funny. I watched the first season and I barely laughed throughout the 20 episodes. The only episode I thought was funny thoughout the 2 seasons I watched is when the whole gang went hunting and someone accidently shot Ron Swanson. Otherwise after that episode I stopped watching the series because it just wasn't funny enough for me to continue watching.

I know a lot of people who tell my they love Parks and Recreation over The Office and I don't understand why. I even got into a debate with my political science teacher about what t.v show is better. I would like to compare The Office's many nominations for many t.v awards unlike Parks and Recreation who get no award nominations.
